Insure Carrier Shipments in PayPal

You may wish to insure your shipments to help protect them should your shipments ever get lost or damaged en route to your customers. While most carriers include some amount of default coverage for lost/damaged packages, you may want additional insurance for packages that contain higher-value items. ParcelGuard™ is PayPal Shipping Center's official shipment insurance partner for US-based accounts. It offers an easy, affordable way to protect your shipments from loss or damage, saving you up to 67% over traditional carrier insurance.

Add Insurance to Shipments

You can add ParcelGuard to shipments no matter which carrier and service you have selected. Fees for ParcelGuard insurance are pulled from your PayPal Shipping Center Balance.

You can add insurance to your shipments in PayPal directly from the Activity page or the Configure a Label sidebar.
